Envestnet is seeking a Senior Billing Configuration Associate to join our Platform Operations department. This is a hybrid role, with in-office work required at our Berwyn, PA office location.

Job Summary: 

The Senior Billing Configuration Associate is responsible for processing new firm configurations, existing firm configuration updates, updating accounts and inflight proposals as well as manager fees. The role involves collaboration with internal service teams to streamline processes and uphold efficiency standards. By maintaining attention to detail and fostering effective communication with stakeholders, the Senior Billing Configuration Associate contributes to upholding high standards of accuracy and operational excellence in billing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configure pricing setups for the following: new firm pricing, existing firm pricing updates, new products coming onto the platform, existing product updates, default and proprietary custodian pricing, and license agreements.
  • Review and understand contracts and execute configurations accordingly.
  • Assist in internal training on correct procedures for pricing configuration and the submission of new pricing setups.
  • Provide support to internal stakeholders regarding billing inquiries.
  • Analyze fee rule data on a monthly basis; produce and deliver volume and accuracy reports to management.
  • Improve internal operational efficiencies through code enhancements, in partnership with the Business Process Analyst group.
  • Support time-sensitive updates to end-client proposals with fee changes.
  • Assist in financial and SOX audits quarterly and annually.
  • Apply knowledge of the compliance, audit, and legal regulations for fee rules and implement accordingly.
  • Assist in the documentation of billing configuration procedures.
  • Contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel required (pivot tables & vlookups).
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and research skills.
  • Experience working with and analyzing high volumes of data.
  • Exposure to contracts preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with a team, contributing to group projects and cross training efforts.
  • Strong communication skills required.
