Envestnet | Yodlee is looking for a Head of Fintech Sales to build and lead an innovative team and enable powerful Fintech experiences with the most comprehensive, accurate, and intelligent APIs and AI in the industry. You will have -

• Prior experience in sales and/or leadership efforts in a startup company preferably with a background in working with financial services clients.
• Excellent leadership, communications, collaboration, negotiation, management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both strategically as well as hands-on when problem solving.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Track record of building innovative, creative, and collaborative high-performing teams.
• Strong desire to lead from a strategic and tactical perspective in all aspects of day-to-day company operations.

Bird’s eye view of your role –

This role is ideal for someone who has the right mix of leadership, passion, energy, and experience in building and growing an emerging digital business within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate is business savvy, has an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative nature, and strong network within the financial services industry and startup ecosystem. The Head of Fintech Sales requires internal collaboration with various stakeholder teams (Marketing, Finance, Products, etc.) and will have primary responsibility for leading company sales and our overall growth strategy for the US and Canada FinTech markets. This role requires organizational leadership, financial leadership, and organizational management, external communications, and marketing and sales efforts. The Head of Fintech Sales will also be responsible for providing the short-term and long-term company vision for building out fintech including the development of a sales and marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have been successful in both large companies as well as startup companies (or will have learned from previous failures) focused on the wants and needs of clients within the financial services industry. In addition to being the face, voice, and spirit of the company’s fintech focus, the candidate must demonstrate a track record of success within financial services and technology.

What are your performance objectives –

o Provide vision and leadership that attracts followers.
o Public relations, including evangelizing technology entrepreneurship through public speaking, digital media, and representing the fintech sector.
o Motivate a high-performance, innovative, and results-driven sales bookings organization.

Strategy & Planning:
o Work with the appropriate internal teams, develop short/long term company and product roadmap.
o Establish and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
o Develop a sales and financial plan for supporting the overarching sales and corporate targets.

Operational Management:
o Work with client operations to oversee customer service and support for critical clients and within the dev portal.
o Work with Marketing and Communications to create and revise all content
o Work with Human Resources to build and lead an effective and cohesive management team while ensuring personnel policies are adhered to.
o Ensure company objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but also owned by management and employees.
o Ensure company and its businesses comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practices.
o Establish, achieve, and report on financials and milestones as required.
o Submit weekly and accurate sales bookings forecasts for every quarter.

How will your lofty goals be translated into specific actions / short term goals –

During the first 3 months:
• Create an appropriate sales and go to market strategy.
• Work with Product development, marketing, and customer service to ensure the proper sales lead generation, and customer care and Developer Portal services and in place and working to achieve your goals.
• Create an appropriate short/long term vision.
