Envestnet Wealth is seeking a talented and passionate Sales Engineer to join the Sales team.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for ensuring that Envestnet’s current and prospective clients are aligned with our available and upcoming platform functionality. This involves being a resource for implementations, supporting strategic client relationships and coordinating platform demonstrations.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product owners on enhancements through the full software development life cycle
  • Provide technical and high‐level sales demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Create and maintain customized demonstration sites for sales representatives
  • Work collaboratively with the Product Group, Enterprise Consultants and Business Development to enhance support models for clients using the wealth technology solutions
  • Work with the Enterprise Consultant team and their top clients as the primary representative for the Envestnet technology platform
  • Solicit feedback regarding platform features and communicate the feedback with Product Managers

 

Must Have:

  • Moderate travel required
  • 8+ years industry experience in sales, product or other client facing role
  • Can lead senior level, executive meetings in person as well as over WebEx
  • Ability to think both tactically and strategically as an ambassador of Envestnet
  • Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and communicate/set expectations for all stakeholders
  • Works well as a member of a team with collaborative decision making
  • Must be creative and can operate and take initiative with little or no direction
  • Must be capable of gathering information from various sources to assist in critical decision making

 

Nice To Have:

  • 5 years minimum at Envestnet or Envestnet acquired firm or similar key account role preferred
