Envestnet Wealth is seeking a talented and passionate A/R Supervisor to join the Finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Review and Posting of invoice batches prepared by the billing and AR teams.
  • Review and Posting of cash batches accurately and timely.
  • Perform allowance for bad debt calculations and analysis (CECL).
  • Perform balance sheet fluctuation analysis for all AR related accounts.
  • Facilitate collections communications and follow ups to customers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal customers.
  • Run AR aging reports to optimize collections and guide team to reduce AR aging.
  • Research and resolve account discrepancies.
  • Review accounts for credit balances (misapplied cash and credit memos) and resolve by conducting thorough research and processing through to appropriate resolution.
  • Reviews monthly revenue journal entries prepared by various teams.
  • Prepare and approve account reconciliations and analysis of accounts.
  • Assists with audit requests.
  • Understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests from external and internal customers.
  • Mentor staff and provide performance reviews.
  • Develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.

 

Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5+ years AR experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently.
  • Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers.
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
  • Experience with large Financial ERP (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings.
  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Target oriented and AR resolution mind set.
