Job Summary:

The Asset Management Support Director serves as a strategic partner for all Premiere Partner Asset Managers, providing goal-oriented insights, as well as proactively reviewing operational processes and technology to satisfy future needs. Works cross functionally with internal parties, including the Asset Management Relations team and Product personnel, to ensure success and satisfaction of each Premier Partner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic, dedicated operations partner for Premiere Partner Asset Managers, working closely with the Asset Management Relations team to resolve operations issues in a proactive and transparent manner ensuring exceptional experiences for Premier Partners
  • Drive performance within the Envestnet Operations teams responsible for building and maintaining portfolios on the ENV platform to ensure prompt distribution on the platform
  • Independently develop and maintain comprehensive profiles for each Premier Partner outlining key operational contacts and initiatives, to provide more comprehensive and responsive support and technology with the initiation of platform projects
  • Create impactful relationships with operational personnel at each of the Premier Partner firms to ensure timely communication of operational topics and changes
  • Proactively review Premiere Partner accounts to identify challenges and present solutions, taking independent action, including liaising with other internal stakeholders, to resolve
  • Leverage comprehensive understanding and evaluation of the Premier Partner’s portfolios and service needs to provide exceptional guidance and support
  • Partner with Asset Management Relations team to create, monitor, and present metrics/KPIs (monthly) related to each assigned Premier Partner’s
    • business on the Envestnet platform, including but not limited to new and closed accounts, new assets, client firm use, portfolios offered
    • inquiries/tickets/calls into Envestnet Manager Services and Product Data teams
  • Facilitate and lead internal calls with the Asset Management Relationship team and others, to closely track and discuss day-to-day operational items and ensure prompt resolution
  • Drive collaboration with internal departments to ensure that procedures and processes are updated and ensure impactful support of the assigned asset managers
  • Act as the liaison between Envestnet Client Service teams and assigned asset manager firms when required
  • Drive project timelines and deliverables for Premier Partners’ enhancement requests by working with Product and RMs to prioritize enhancements for upcoming releases
  • Lead platform project meetings which support the operational needs of Premier Partners
  • Ensure each assigned Premier Partner is aware of upcoming release enhancements and ready for changes
  • Initiate, prepare for, and drive individual Premier Partner meetings which include operational strategy discussions, roadmap reviews, and metrics/KPI analysis
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. 
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree – Business, Finance, Economics preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a previous relationship management role
  • 7+ years of experience in a technology or financial services field
  • Familiarity working for or with financial technology or financial services companies
  • Excellent listener with an aptitude for problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
  • Ability to see and explain the bigger picture, lead discussions driving strategy and solutions as well as overall business goals
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Understand the Premiere Partner business model
  • Self-starter with demonstrated perseverance, dedication, and commitment
