Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, to join our Data Analytics Team to build and maintain a suite of products based on consumer spending analytics. As part of this job, you will be working on:

  • Web application development based on Microservices architecture
  • Big Data Analytics and building data pipelines

 Qualifications: 

To be successful in this role you have:

 

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 6+ years of software development experience 
  • Proficient with one or more object-oriented and functional programming languages: JavaScript, Java / Scala
  • Experience in RESTFUL API development, preferably NodeJS, ExpressJS framework
  • Experience in frontend Technologies: ReactJS, Redux, CSS, HTML
  • 1+ year of experience in one or more Big Data technologies: Hadoop, Spark, Redshift
  • Strong familiarity and experience using public cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines, using Git, Jenkins
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Solid background in complicated SQL & data analysis
  • Experience in writing Unit test cases
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Nice to have exposure to Micro-services and Event based architectural styles
  • Zeal for learning and adopting new ideas and patterns
