Part 1 Describe the Position

Accomplishing Dewatering Segment objectives by sales strategy, business development, relationship management, key account management, channel partner management, market penetration, cross functional coordination, target achievement, planning, evaluating, implementing and completing sales activities ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Process overview:

  • Accomplish Sales objectives by adept handling of wide range of assignments ranging from business development, relationship management, strategic planning, market research, scheduling; planning, monitoring and reviewing self and channel partner targets; negotiation and interpersonal skills; identifying trends; formulating and implementing Go-To-Market schedules and build customer relations; strictly following policies and procedures.

 

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations; preparing and completing action plans; implementing revenue plan, coordination, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; implementing departmental and organizational change

 

  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenses; Implementing corrective actions and target achievement.

 

  • Enhance Organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

 

  • Provide reports on a regular basis on the status of each project assigned

Day-to-day execution:

  • Implementation of sales plan and business strategies.
  • Developing & enhancing business for the organization to achieve assigned targets.
  • Identifying prospective clients to generate business & revenue to increase sales growth; build & maintain strong business relations with major clients thereby ensuring customer satisfaction & delight.
  • Prepare, submit techno-commercially sound offers and discussions with customers
  • Be prepared to travel at a short notice out of the location within and outside the country to meet the customers / channel partners.
  • Supervise the activity plan of Distributors & Dealers to ensure they are achieved as per desired goal.
  • Executing robust strategies for effective market penetration of new products; increasing market share of existing products; review & interpret competition & market information to streamline strategies.
  • Responsible for meeting sales targets through direct Projects and Distributors networks for Pumps and dewatering pumping solution for Dewatering business segment
  • For turnkey project dewatering solution: Facilitate the definition of projects scope, goals and deliverables. Define projects tasks and resource requirements. Develop full scale projects plans
  • Provide direction and support to projects team.

 

Part 2 Describe the Person

Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience)

         Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

         6 - 8 years of experience, preferably in the field of sales of Mining and Municipal Equipment

 

Important competencies /skills required

         Communication – writing, verbal and presentation skills

         Technical – have understanding of selection of pumps, drivers, drives, instrumentation

         Commercial – Understanding of commercial terms for indigenous and imported equipment;

         Supervision – of channel partners and internal stakeholders during execution
