Senior Digital Marketing and Operations Manager

The Sr. Digital Marketing and Operations Manager will be responsible for digital marketing strategies that maintain and grow the Xylem Water Infrastructure (WI) and Europe Commercial Team (EU CT) business’s online presence and effectiveness. You will have responsibilities for how Xylem connects with our prospects, customers and other stakeholders on all digital channels along the entire customer journey. This leadership role will help drive performance marketing across all channels including: optimising conversions from search and web to optimising our campaigns through personalisation, marketing automation strategies, account based marketing and finally investing in paid media and social media strategies. This role will leverage all digital technologies (web and online channels, wearables, mobile and apps, AR/VR, etc.) to provide an exceptional experience for our customers and stakeholders.

You will report directly to the Director of WI and EU CT Marketing and indirectly report to the Vice President of Digital Marketing and can be based remotely or in one of our offices in European Sales office

  • Deliver a Xylem brand experience along the customer journey consistent with best in class digital practices and experiences aligned with corporate digital marketing strategy and WI & EU CT leadership strategic goals
  • Recommend and collaborate with the WI & EU CT and Regional Marketing team on proper use and management of digital channels including web, email, and other digital channels
  • Serve as the WI & EU CT digital marketing ambassador and partner with corporate digital marketing, the web operations team, and the WI & EU CT leadership team to drive web priorities, campaigns & initiatives, and platform requirement
  • Establish key performance indicators, track results and manage reporting of WI and EU CT websites and campaign performance and engagement data (Google Analytics, Social Analytics, Marketo Reports, CRMs)
  • Support demand generation campaigns and educate on strategies that drive website traffic through appropriate sources, including search engine marketing, pay per click, email marketing, digital advertisings
  • Oversee the SEO and SEM strategies and tactical objectives for the WI & EU CT related websites
  • Drive digital marketing operational efficiencies and process improvement projects to facilitate accurate and scalable lead generation and nurturing practices
  • Manage reporting and process optimisation of digital marketing campaigns in support of key business objectives including leads generated, lead conversion, opportunities created and closed and individual prospect engagement against corporate goals using Marketo and SalesForce CRM.
  • Drive data quality processes to allow for effective campaign data segmentation and list selection from SalesForce CRM and Marketo systems to ensure targeted campaign execution and adherence to privacy standards
  • Optimise the digital campaign process over time to include new campaign requirements, testing protocols, and quality control in route to quickly expand “winning” initiatives to multiple markets
  • Collaborate effectively with regional marketing communication leader and sales organisation to understand local opportunities and challenges in reaching target audiences with key messages and digital channels
  • Promote and educate fellow marketers and sales team on marketing best practice such as lead segmentation, A/B testing, email automation and analytics
  • Execute marketing operations strategic directions though vendor management and sourcing
  • Develop and manage the digital budget, providing monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
