The Role: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities by conducting on site assessment
  • Use appropriate tools as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), make vs. buy analysis, maturity assessment, ideation session to build opportunity list
  • Monitor project pipeline and initiatives from idea generation to strategic execution
  • Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders to prioritize projects
  • Ensure proper communication, buy in, and change management at the point of impact
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Work in close collaboration with local team to ensure all requirements are taken into account for project implementation
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Lead large and multi-site projects
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Manage project budget
  • Manage project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Implement change using appropriated CI technics (DMAIC, Kaizen event)
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Documents and validates achieved CI benefits in existing tracking systems
  • Assist in designing new procedures and methods for operational processes
  • Build company standard for project execution and delivery
  • Ensure CI principle are applied and followed for identifying, leading and tracking projects and changes
  • Part of the steering committee group
  • Report and escalate to management as needed

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • PMP certification
  • BB certification
  • Master degree of Science in Manufacturing or Industrial engineering
  • 15+ years’ business experience in global/international company
  • Proficiency in CI transformation and Project management primarily in the Manufacturing area
  • Experience in conducting assessment in multiple sites, multiple geographies, to identify productivity improvement projects
  • Technical competencies in continuous processes and assembly line
  • Experience in developing manufacturing processes, improving manufacturing efficiency, establishing production standards based on product/customer requirements, testing manufacturing methods and equipment
  • Experience in providing manufacturing decision making by calculating production, labor, and material cost
  • Experience in Cost of Quality management (COPQ, COGQ), productivity improvements (quick change over, Total Productive Maintenance, machine settings optimization) and material flow improvements (pull system, inventory management)
  • Ability to analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and safety
  • Experience in defining optimum crew sizing, tooling capacity, and production master schedule
  • Experience in make vs buy analysis
  • Experience in Industry 4.0 is a plus
  • Practical experience working on the shop floor with engineer, technician and operators
  • Demonstrated success in leading significant change in large organization
  • Understand manufacturing financials and ability to make decision accordingly
  • Proven Continuous improvement/lean and six sigma expertise in manufacturing
  • Experience of running multiple, large size international projects in different locations
  • Proficiency in coaching, people development, change management
  • Proven track record of lean implementation with kaizen event
  • Subject matter expert for continuous improvement tools and method, in Lean, DMAIC, and project management
  • Proven ability to develop influential relationship at multiple levels
  • Excellent overall business acumen and organizational savvy
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to drive hands on execution in the business and strategic thinking with top leaders
