HR Manager/Senior HR Business Partner

We are looking for an engaged, solution-oriented, and communicative HR professional for a truly exciting role as HR Manager/Senior HR Business Partner.

As an HR Manager/Senior HR Business Partner, you have the overall responsibility of leading the HR function on our site in Sundbyberg. You have a natural place in the management team where you are contributing to Xylem's development both in the short and long term. It is a role where you work closely with the company to implement local and global strategies and work to continuously improve and develop our work in HR.

You will provide strategic HR support to the senior leadership within the entire field of HR. You will be part of a global environment together with a diverse and highly qualified European HR team.

You will have 3 HR business Partners reporting to you and you will report to VP HR located in Sundbyberg.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior HR managers, outspread in Europe, on a variety of HR-related issues and projects. Working within a fast-paced environment, you will act as the key point of contact for Sundbyberg.
  • You will work closely with the Senior Leaders in the development and delivery of the people strategy in a true business partner style.
  • Responsible for all HR programs, policies and delivery models and insures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for taking a hands-on approach and successfully monitoring the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Works closely with business managers to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Responsible for building managerial capability through focused HR practices as well as guidance, coaching, counseling, mentoring and development.
  • Operating as a change agent, leads the implementation and execution of corporate wide practices such as performance management approach, organizational development, talent reviews and succession planning.
  • Effectively collaborates and partners with the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence to ensure high quality and fast results for the business.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining functional excellence in all HR processes and practices for the full employee lifecycle (hire to retire). 
  • Acts as an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment and promote diversity and inclusion
  • Coaching and supporting the development of the HR Business Partners.

 

Qualifications

You are a well-rounded HR professional who have experience from working in a global organization. You’re a self-starter with high energy who independently drive your work forward and are able to create engagement. You easily gain trust at all levels and have excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels. You thrive in a fast-paced industry and champion positive change.

In order to contribute to this role you have:

  • 10 years of working experience in human resources
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization in a global setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management, labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent working knowledge of compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, talent management and training
  • Ability to act independently and quickly solve problems, make decisions with a strong customer-oriented focus
  • Embraces change and demonstrates the ability to operate as an agent of change
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and familiarity with continuous improvement practices.  
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a team member.  
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and customer service skills
  • Fluent both spoken and written in Swedish and English
