THE ROLE: The Sr. Full Stack Developer will be involved in designing and implementing end to end solutions to complex problems. From user interactions to APIs to persistence you will build the absolute best user experience. And you’ll do all this with the latest tools and technologies. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:  To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

 

  • Participate in the development process of software from definition to deployment.
  • Develop cutting-edge technologies to improve software offering.
  • Build servers and services using NodeJS, Svelte, Django, Flask, and similar tools. Develop compelling web experiences using the latest frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Work with SQL and no-SQL database environments, RESTful backend services, microservice ecosystems, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
  • Maintain and improve both on-premise and cloud-based applications using containerized deployment, reducing costs and streamlining efficiency.
  • Engineer code that is standardized, efficient, and well documented.
  • Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years related work experience.
  • Front-End, Middle-Tier and Back-End development;
  • Developing applications in start-up and large scale, high performance environments;
  • 1 or more web frameworks such as Angular, React, and/or Vue;
  • Creating RESTful web services;
  • Knowledge of 1 or more tools such as MongoDB, InfluxDB, SQL-based ORM;
  • Familiarity with authentication flows: OIDC, SAML, etc.
  • Mastery of Docker or other containerization technologies; and
  • Knowledge of GIS front/back-end technologies such as MapBox, ESRI, etc.

LOCATION: Madrid
CONTRACT: Full time, Open ended contract

TRAVEL: 10% del tiempo
