Design Engineer – Electrical motors

Responsibilities

In your role as Design Engineer for electrical motors, you will create and modify manufacturing drawings and documents of motor related components. You will be supported by motor development experts that calculate and determine the overall motor design and performance.

Your work will cover new product development, product maintenance of the existing motor assortment and special orders. Besides a close collaboration with other colleagues in the motor group your work will include interaction with manufacturing, sourcing and other development groups within R&D.

The role also includes some practical work in the motor laboratory to build and test motor prototypes.

You will mainly work with software like Creo and PDMLink.

Qualifications

Suitable background is mechanical engineer e.g. college or bachelor’s degree with some years’ experience. You are interested in development of electrical machines like motors and generators.   

Fluent in English, both verbal and written, are essential to perform this work as part of a global company. Communication skills in Swedish are a plus.

Personal characteristics

You are driven and find pleasure in bringing tasks to an end even if some may be repetitive in nature. Furthermore, we believe you can work independently.

Our technical documents and drawings must be of high quality for effective manufacturing. Thus, you should be precise, detailed and structured.
