Human Resources Information System Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting global data audits and updates in Workday System, supporting security role requests, and managing data change requests within HRIS System. Data analysts will monitor performance and perform data quality controls on a reoccurring basis.

Job Summary

Human Resources Information Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle audits and updates to system, security assignments and reviews in system, as well as uploading training content into LMS. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Core Job Responsibilities

Review ongoing data integrity reports and follow up with appropriate stakeholders to obtain accurate data updates.

Update HRIS system with data updates and corrections. 

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, connections, links and inconsistencies/errors in complex data sets and processes.

Resolve and "clean" data and process inconsistencies in a consistent and systematic manner

Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Support LMS administration by loading training content, updating attendee rosters, and supporting LMS Administrator with tasks.

Assign Security Roles in HRIS system as well as check/review updates in the system made by other analysts.

Support semi-annual security recertification process

Complete data entry as needed.

Perform monthly reconciliation between HRIS and downstream payroll systems

Support other functional HR areas as needed.

Other data management duties as needed.

Education Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; four years’ experience and/or other training/certification may be substituted for the education


2-3 years proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst

Workday HCM experience preferred, 1 year

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word


Experience with human capital management (HCM) systems preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly articulate complex messages and requirements.
