Description

  • Analyzes market & industry trends, customer needs and current gaps, Govt policies & regulations, competitive analysis to drive growth and business development for Xylem’s products and solutions
  • Lead market sizing, market analytics, customer segmentation, competitive analysis, product positioning and future growth areas for Xylem’s current and future product and solutions
  • Lead development of the strategic plan for Xylem for sustainable & profitable business growth; Translate the strategy and market analytics to establish and revise actionable plan for Sales & Business development teams
  • Develop the go-to-market plan to capitalize on business priorities, including target segment, value proposition, communications strategy and execution requirements
  • Drives key GC strategic initiatives, supports and drives the development of long-term growth plans and profitability objectives
  • Engage with R&D and Engineering teams in innovation ideation and future product developments based on market needs
  • Engage and lead 3rd party consultants to drive market understanding and business development initiatives
  • Establish strong partnerships with external stakeholders to enable commercialization of Xylem’s products and solutions, including working with Govt agencies (Central & State Govt), Consultants and other Stakeholders
  • Coordinate efforts with Vertical Market Managers, regional Commercial Teams, Product Managers and Global Business Development Manager

Desired Candidate Profile :

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in Water or Waste water industry is required, of which a minimum of 5 (five) years in senior Marketing or Business development role,
  • Master Degree in Mechanical, Environmental or Process Engineering,
  • MBA preferred,
  • Experience in Sales & Business Development in Industrial / B2B environment preferred, especially dealing with Govt agencies, Consultants and EPC partners

  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams; and to establish & implement actionable plan in collaboration with Sales & Business development teams
  • Strong technical knowledge in all aspects of the domestic water and wastewater market segments (industrial water and wastewater experience also beneficial)
  • Strong bias towards Action with ability to execute plans and engage with various stakeholders, both public & private sector
  • Capable of motivating / supporting Commercial team, as well as, competently presenting key product and application advantages to engineers and end users in the Water and Wastewater market segments
  • Proven ability form external partnerships to address key customer requirements
  • Aptitude for technology and willingness to learn new technologies or processes such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Salesforce.com, Cvent, Adobe Suite, Marketo
  • Proficient in Oral and Written communication in both Hindi and English
