Job Summary:

Primarily serve as the administrative manager of the IT resources, based at the India Tech Center and as the IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for the India region.  As IT Manager, help to support the unique needs of the local IT team that are a part of the broader, global team professionals collectively responsible for the architecture, design, development, implementation and production support of the IT Enterprise Applications and IT Infrastructure. This requires closely collaborating with all the IT Managers responsible for each of the IT groups that each local team member is a part.  In the role of IT BRM, serve as the primary point for the businesses for capturing requirements for those technical and process elements for the India region, focusing on the India Technology Center. 

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Closely coordinate with IT managers so they can better support their local teams
  • Serve as the administrative manager of the IT resources at the India Tech Center
  • Lead as the strategic interface between the BRM’s IT function and our India business partners to stimulate, surface, and shape business demand and ensure that the potential business value from those assets and capabilities is captured, realized, optimized, and recognized
  • Establish and earn value-adding, strategic partner relationship maturity for yourself in the role of an IT BRM for the India region
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the India business and India Technology Center to build positive relationship development, both horizontally and vertically
  • Establish communication processes and channels across business functions
  • Liaise with other teams and functions to understand, fulfill and support their requirements.
  • Educate business partners about processes, roles, and capabilities
  • Establish and maintain IT standards for the architecture, design and delivery of enterprise solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of business relationship management, system analysis, governance, project management and software development lifecycle
  • Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
  • Ability to influence and break down silos within an organization as well across organizations

  • Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration with 5+ years of experience, or a Graduate Degree (Masters) in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with 8+ years of experience, or relevant and equivalent business or IT experience of minimum of 10 years
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives
  • Technical knowledge of IT systems & processes with extensive hands-on experience
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conversant in English language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Shop:    In locations with a factory or shop floor, exposure to factory/shop and machinery  
  • Standard weekly job hours:

  • 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during local office hours
  • Collaboration with global teams may require participation in teleconferences outside of local office hours
  • Support of business critical systems will require occasional availability or work outside of local office hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Travel requirement:

    Although no regularly scheduled travel is required, domestic or international travel will be occasionally required in support of specific projects or activities.
