Manager - Communications

•Collaborate with business, sales and marketing leaders to set communications and branding strategy for One Xylem, as well as, for multiple product lines and geographies
•Define and execute strategy for media, campaigns and tradeshows, along with Xylem India and global stakeholders as well as external partners
•Build awareness, preference and loyalty for Xylem brand as well as for “Xylem Watermark” which is a philanthropic initiative
•Manage Communications and branding budget through clear prioritization process
•Establish and implement branding strategy, guidelines and actions across all product lines & solutions and across all geographies in the South Asia region
•Establish branding guidelines and review content with Channel partners & System integrators
•Develop compelling content and engagement for print & social media as well as for Customer events & conferences
•Drives strong print & social media presence for Xylem and Core leadership staff
•Track competitors and market trends and actions
•Drives key GC strategic initiatives, supports and drives the development of long-term growth plans and profitability objectives
•Coordinate efforts with business leadership, marketing, sales, product managers & global communication team
•Supports development of sustainable training programs for sales and sales channel personnel
•Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping, work rules and regulations

Desired Candidate profile :

•Education: Bachelor or advanced degree in marketing, communications, journalism
•Experience: 10+ years of marketing and branding experience for B2B
•Proven experience in developing high quality, creative content for Social and Print media and for marketing campaigns, including thought leadership articles
•Proven capability to work with 3rd party agencies and building & executing highly effective marketing campaigns
•Experience with Digital marketing preferred
•Excellent verbal and written communications

•Proven track record of developing and delivering multiple effective communications strategies and programs on time and on budget
•Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated and demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision making skills, with a Customer-first mindset
•Passion for building strong brands; Have experience working closely with sales, product marketing, PR, and field marketing
•Eye for detail and creative development, and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
•Highly adaptable to constantly changing market and competitive environments
•Foster effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•Proven track record of success and demonstrated ability in leading teams
•Proven knowledge of and experience working with current trends in digital/social media
•Ability to set and track campaign and communication KPIs and optimize for continuous improvement
•Experience with Digital marketing technologies and KPI
•Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
•Aptitude for technology and willingness to learn new technologies or processes Google Analytics, Google AdWords,, Cvent, Adobe Suite, Marketo, Eloqua, SEO, PPC, etc.
