XYLEM is looking for a new colleague for the following position:
Sales Engineer 
Region: Central Asia (Kazakhstan focus) 
  • Strategy preparation and execution for design institutes in a region. 
  • Contribute to long- and short-term business planning by building strong relationship with design institutes.
  • Ensures sales channels are well trained
  • Working on the customer satisfaction in term of technical needs, quality, price and delivery
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product selection, quotation preparation
  • Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets the customer needs
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Working with tecnicians of End Users to generate demand and specify full scope of  portfolio.
  • Assist ASMs and BDMs in creating product/technical information/quotaion/diagrams etc for Customers
  • CRM management (Salesforce);
  • Regular reports on core activities and opportunities;
  • Demonstrate highest standards of ethics, teamwork, personal accountability and mutual support;
  • University degree (technical or engineering field) 
  • 5yrs+ relevant experience 
  • Clear understanding of the Water segment in terms of technical layout 
  • Water/wastewater pumping process knowledge 
  • Treatment processes (drinking/waste water) understanding 
  • Fluent in Russian, upper-intermediate English 
  • Good IT skills (MS Office, Sales Force CRM or equal) 
  • Customer-oriented 
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills 
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning, and decision making skills, proactive, self-motivated 
  • Ability to travel 20% or work days
