Project and Applications Manager (m/f/d) Water Technologies m/f/d  

Essential duties:  

• Provide technical support for higher level “Engineered Solutions” in rental applications
• Develop a practical knowledge of all of Xylem Rental technologies, including Treatment, Transportation, Sanitation and Monitoring and Control
• Work with Leadership and Rental Community to develop Vertical Rental Solutions for both Water Treatment and Transport applications in various Market segments
• Assist Commercial Teams in compiling complete commercial offers, including selection and applications of Xylem European Rental fleet
• Perform engineering calculations, including hydraulic, electrical and Treatment specific calculations
• Troubleshoot performance issues with rental equipment
• Support Xylem Commercial teams in prospecting high level rental applications
• Performing “job walks” and answering technical questions for employees and customers alike
• Provide on-site assistance to field technicians during job startups
• Play an active role in the safety culture of the company ensuring the safety of yourself and the safety of others that could be affected by your acts or omissions at all times
• Drive Rental Best Practices across Xylems rental operations
• Work closely with the Bremen Rental Hub team on day-to-day rental operations

Skills:  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Biotechnology and Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering)
• More than 4 years experience in related field
• Experience within construction, industrial and municipal markets (water Transport and Treatment) is preferred
• You work independently and appear confident
• Your willingness to travel and your intercultural competence motivate you to work in exciting projects
• Your good knowledge of English is convincing both orally and in writing and basic knowledge of German
• Driving license
