The Role:
Chief ACCOUNTANT
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage month-end close iScala / SAP data upload into Onestream System
- Manage Onestream system updates
- Manage the local books according to the local tax rules
- Prepare all the necessary tax reports for deadline
- Perform cost allocation and necessary cost re-class transactions
- Prepare and upload supplemental, cost of sales, working capital and headcount files.
- Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reports and uploading them to the reporting portal.
- Perform / review account reconciliations
- Update SOX documentation, ensure appropriate segregation of duties, perform certain SOX controls
- Prepare / submit certain statistical reports
- Support intercompany reconciliations and monthly netting
- Book bank statements
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in oral and written Romanian and English; knowledge of Hungarian languages is an advantage
- University degree in Economics
- 5+ years experience as Chief Accountant
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong collaborative and respectful people leadership and business acumen
- Ability to work with diverse workforce and customer base
- Excellent analytical, influential, and reasoning behaviors
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams
