Job Description: As a Service Team Manager at Xylem UK, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable delivery of high-quality service to our customers. With 24/7 responsibility for the management of Service and Rental functions in your designated area, you will lead, develop, and performance manage a specialist team. This role involves collaboration with various teams, financial management, and a focus on customer satisfaction and safety.  

  
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Lead and develop the Service team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Meet sales, cost, and operating income budgets, collaborating with Finance and Sales teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements in customer satisfaction through process enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with Xylem policies and procedures, with a strong focus on Health and Safety.
  • Optimize resource utilization by working closely with the scheduling team.
  • Manage fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are well-equipped, operated safely, and properly maintained.
  • Support employees in effectively using the ServiceMax system.
  • Ensure accuracy in timesheets, expenses, invoices, and reports.
  • Deputize for the Area Manager and other Service Managers when required.
  
Qualifications:  
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably within a service-oriented industry.
  • Strong financial management skills, with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in optimizing resource utilization and managing customer accounts.
  • Proficiency in using service management systems (e.g., ServiceMax).
