Job Summary:  


The HRBP is both a strategic and hands-on role that delivers full cycle Human Resources services enabling the organization to attract, manage, develop and retain colleagues with the skills needed to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.  


Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:  

  

1. HR Business Partnering  

  •  Actively partner with French & Belgium business leaders of the different entities and business units to deeply understand the business, financials and strategic goals ; Analyze strategic KPIs and proactively propose HR initiatives to meet business objectives, improve productivity and people development.
  • Take a hands-on approach to ensure a high level of employee engagement. Work closely with business managers to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Build managerial capability through focused HR practices as well as guidance, coaching, counseling, mentoring and development
  • Operate as a change agent, lead the implementation and execution of corporate wide practices such as performance management approach, organizational development, talent reviews, succession planning and shared services/COE strategies.
  • Establish and maintain functional excellence in all HR processes and practices for the full employee lifecycle (from hire to termination, including job changes, absences, etc), and provide guidance to insure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Identify and deliver training needs for the business, in partnership with our external service provider. Collaborate and partner with Leadership and Talent Development COE as needed.
  • Actively partner with HR functions: HR Shared Service, HRIS team, Centers of Excellence [Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, Learning & Development, etc.], to ensure high quality and fast results for the business. h. Develop & follow up a robust process for temporary workforce needs (cost, legal requirements…)
  • Acts as an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.

2. Social Relations   

  • Manage and resolve individual as well as collective employee relations matters, including support of performance improvement plan development and delivery as required; conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations as required.
  • Drive the discussion with Work Councils; Provide labor relations support when needed
  • Assist with the implementation workforce planning, “Gestion des emplois et des parcours professionnels”

3. HR and DE&I Projects  

  • Actively promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in the workplace, lead and participate in DE&I projects (including : Communicate and raise awareness, organize events, or any other action plan related to Diversity, Disability, Gender Equity, etc
  • Participate in strategic HR continuous improvement projects (HR processes, initiatives, etc)
  •  Identify & drive projects to leverage synergies at Regional level (Learning & Development initiatives, annual performance appraisal, etc.)
  • Consistently applies lean principles, a continuous improvement mindset and ensures standard work is maintained.

Required Qualifications:  


• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 7+ years of directly related experience
• knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management, state of labor laws and regulations
• Excellent working knowledge of compensation, benefits, employee relations, organizational development, and training - France
• Ability to act independently and quickly solve problems, make decisions with a strong customer oriented focus - France
• Embraces change and demonstrates ability to operate as an agent of change
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in HRIS (Workday is a plus)
• Strong Business Acumen
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), and customer service skills  

  

LOCATION: Nanterre        
CONTRACT: PERMANENT, HYBRID        
25% of your time will be spent travelling regularly in France or Belgium
