About the role:
The Monetization Team is searching for an experienced Senior Data Analyst who is highly self-sufficient, self-motivated and can thrive in a start-up like environment to make positive contributions. The team is focused on making sense of the vast multi-million data points being generated daily across multiple countries, platforms, and diverse internal stakeholders.
The team member's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Handle & execute ad hoc requests from internal stakeholders
- Translate business requirements & expectations from various conflicting sources into SQL queries
- Clearly document & maintain repository of queries
- Effectively transition completed ad hoc projects for productionalization
- Quality Assurance (QA) and query optimization (performance and cost) of all queries generated by the team
- Maintaining the team’s Athena related views and external tables
- Tracking & acting upon team’s query-related costs
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic start-up like environment
- High Understanding of:
- SQL (Presto, mySQL)
- AWS (S3, Athena)
- Python
- Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A collaborative attitude
- Basic Understanding of:
- Tableau (interactive data visualization)
- Airflow (workflow management)
- Scala/Java
