Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Techno-Functional resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in software development using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate, Infragistics WPF, Sybase Datawindow Designer, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft Visual SourceSafe. Have good experience working with business users in getting their requirements and designing optimized solutions that meet our business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-departmental teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate.
- UI/UX Development: Utilize Visual Basic .Net to create user-friendly interfaces with built-in functionalities like saving to Excel, sorting, and filtering.
- Report Generation: Use Sybase Datawindow Designer 2.0 to create and manage templates for generating reports and invoices.
- Database Management: Develop and optimize database objects such as stored procedures and direct queries using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2014.
- Version Control: Maintain and manage the source code using Microsoft Visual SourceSafe to ensure historical version control and integrity.
- Testing: Prepare test cases for the unit testing
- Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting. Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, CS, or related field
- Having 5 to 7 years of experience in developing software
- Proficiency in Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate.
- Experience with Infragistics WPF Version 11.1, including controls for buttons, checkboxes, grids, and more.
- Knowledge of Sybase Datawindow Designer 2.0 for report and invoice generation.
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2014, including building and querying database objects.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual SourceSafe for version control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Must have a learning and growth mindset and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur are a plus.
