C++ Developer: 

Vewd focuses on technology for Smart TVs and STBs. We work with customers like Sony, Samsung, Arris Vestel, and with some of the biggest content partners in the world, helping them deploy their services on our platform. 

When you’re watching YouTube on a Sony TV, you may see part of our work! 

Responsibilities: 

‧ Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, portable, and reliable C++ code (25M+ LOC; majority in C++, but Java/JavaScript/Python is also there!) 

‧ Identify bottlenecks and bugs for a plethora of platforms and device solutions 

‧ Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization 

‧ Proactively seek assistance when required and actively contribute to team activities including design reviews, code reviews and mentoring 

‧ Stay current about industry developments and Internet technologies 

Requirements: 

‧ Familiar with modern C++ coding (11 or above) 

‧ Good C++ skills and a firm understanding of object-oriented programming 

‧ Experience in UNIX/Linux/Android programming 

‧ Drive and commitment to work in a highly dynamic environment 

‧ Knowledge of web standards 

‧ Good working knowledge of English, written and SPOKEN 

‧ Good knowledge of Chinese 

‧ ***You are already located in Taiwan and have a visa to stay***  

Ideal: 

‧ Experience in the development and debugging of embedded systems 

‧ Experience in embedded Linux or Android
