This position is a full time position at our office in Gainesville, GA.

Xpedite Services is a Third Party Logistics Provider looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join the team. The Logistics Coordinator (LC) is responsible for all brokerage inquiries regarding shipments, products and customer service in their assigned areas of operation. This position will work in a fast-paced, team environment and will help drive the business. Salary range: $40k-$50k, based on experience. Bonus program available.

Responsibilities: 

• Solicit the sale of new and additional services to customers to grow the Xpedite business
• Handle the entire life cycle of loads from customer order inquiry, through carrier load confirmation and pickup, to final product delivery
• Communicate effectively with customers and inform them of progress on their loads
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of the brokered freight per customer requirements and provide an exceptional level of customer service throughout the process
• Optimize margins for Xpedite by ensuring loads are allocated to the most competent and cost-effective carriers for each lane
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure consistent and future business

Qualifications: 

• A High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a transportation, supply chain, or brokerage role preferred.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Clear, effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Approachable, adaptable, and self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multi-task.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, follow up, negotiation, interview, and decision making skills required.
