Flight Approval Coordination Team (FACT)

  • Perform full Risk Assessment and review of technical feasibility
    • Runs initial Flight Plan
    • Checks performance to advise on limitations and suggest alternatives if applicable
    • Checks NOTAMs
    • Checks availability of FBO/Handling services
    • Checks Customs availability
    • Checks Parking availability
    • Check for Permit/Slot/PPR requirements
    • Assess initial fleet availability
    • Airport Ops Hours
    • Verify Fire Category (escalate if applicable)
    • PCN vs CAN (runway and ramp weight baring capacity)
    • Review Crew Document requirements (visa, passport, etc.)
    • Perform initial 10 in 24 check & advise on duty limitations
  • Communicate limitations & and suggest alternatives
  • Maintain airport database in GV & FOS at all times
  • Respond to Revenue Management and internal OCC inquiries regarding Weather, Performance, etc.
  • Maintain constant coordination with:
  • Scheduling Team
  • Client Services
  • Duty Manager
  • Flight Operations Duty Manager (FODM)
  • Revenue Management & XO Sales
  • VistaJet Sales

Flight Operations Team

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on all Operational matters, including:
    • Weather
    • NOTAMs
    • TFRs
    • Aircraft Performance & Feasibility
    • Alternate Airports
    • FAA Regulations
    • Special Event Management
    • Approval and coordination of incoming flight requests
  • Capture, log, and verify crew duty information
  • Reserve hanger space for flights, as required due to snow, ice or overnight temperatures
  • Coordinates with Schedule Team during Irregular Operations (IRROP) regarding trip and crew logistics
  • Maintains the TSA No Fly List (NFL)

Qualifications & Experience: 
  • High school diploma or GED. College degree preferred
  • Dispatcher certificate or pilot license preferred
  • Knowledge of Part 135 regulations (rest and flight time limitations)
  • 2 years of relevant aviation experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office, ability to learn new programs quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, problem solve, and effectively prioritize tasks
  • Highly detail oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Dynamic and energetic spirit coupled with a strong desire to create and win
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment
