Xcelerate Solutions is looking for a Vice President of Talent Acquisition.  This individual leads the Talent Acquisition Team and plays a key role in designing, refining, and implementing strategies and processes to attract and retain high-quality talent. The ideal person has a background in recruiting, performance management, and teammate engagement. They will work collaboratively across the organization to create and sustain a compelling experience for prospective and current Xcelerate Solutions teammates. This role requires experience and proven performance in delivering strategic and innovative talent management initiatives and executing them at a high standard. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who brings new ideas and best practices to help attract, engage, develop, and retain teammates who align with both our mission and values. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Form key alliances with organization leaders and partner with them in ensuring a robust talent strategy. 
  • Execute and improve upon recruitment strategies that attract great people who embody our mission and values. 
  • Oversee acquisition integration efforts related to talent acquisition, as well as technical resource integration. 
  • Establish an employer brand alongside marketing by developing supporting materials that communicate the company’s uniqueness and build excitement through the business’s employment advertisements, career sites, job descriptions, and other employment materials. 
  • Collaborate with other leaders within the business in determining the current and future talent requirements of the business and those needs unique to each department. 
Required: 
  • Bachelor’s degree, preference for concentration in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • At least 15 years of experience in talent acquisition experience. 
  • At least 7 years of recent experience at a director level or above; leading and managing a talent acquisition department, including recruiting staff, talent management functions and processes 
  • At least 5 years of recent experience leading talent acquisition teams in the federal government contracting DoD/Intel Community. 
  • Experience with mergers & acquisitions; acquisition integration of talent acquisition teams, as well as technical resource integration 
  • Excellent development and execution of strategies, process improvement, culture and system change, performance management, and communications. 
  • Ability to innovate and challenge current norms to drive change in the organization and work with people at various organizational levels. 
  • Reputation for being a process-driver and thought leader, leveraging efficiencies in the use of technologies, workflows, and processes. 
  • In depth understanding of EEO, AAP, and OFCCP compliance requirements. 
  • Strong understanding of HR & TA best practices including Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation Planning & Analysis, and Internal Mobility 
  • Experience developing and executing complex workforce plans. 
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. 
Preferred: 
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance 
  • Experience with Jobvite and ADP 
  • Professional certifications & affiliations
