Low Code/ No Code Solution Architect - Secret
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a low-code / no-code Solution Architect to serve as a senior member of the enterprise Army Software Innovation Center (ASIC). This role will lead architecture, governance, and platform strategy for Appian solutions across a secure DoD enterprise environment deployed in cloud infrastructure.
While Appian expertise is required, experience with other low-code platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Palantir, and Salesforce) is highly valued to support enterprise-wide standards and cross-platform governance. Your main focus will be on modernizing the existing system, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing costs to align with mission objectives and budget constraints. Manage the system architecture, governance, documentation and implementation of DevSecOps, DevOps, and development best practices. Leverage technologies to enhance the system's performance and reliability. By utilizing your expertise in these areas, you will play a key role in driving the success of the organization's IT initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise architecture standards for Appian and other low-code platforms.
- Establish governance models for application lifecycle, security, and reuse.
- Develop reference architectures, reusable components, and design patterns
- Provide architectural oversight for all Appian solutions.
- Mentor development teams and enforce best practices.
- Support platform selection and capability evaluation across low-code tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance
- 7+ years of experience implementing medium to complex applications on the Appian platform (experience with Palantir, Salesforce and ServiceNow is also a plus)
- 3+ years of experience with application programming interfaces (APIs) in order to support Low-Code/No-Code Development Platform models.
- Experience with Data Modeling, ETL, Stored Procedures and optimizing queries/views
- 3+ years of experience developing on RDBMS platforms (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
- Certified Senior Developer or Certified Lead Developer
- 3 + years of experience using low-code/no-code business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools.
- Minimum of 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading solution architecture for enterprise-scale modernization initiatives, including transformation of legacy systems into scalable, secure, and cloud-enabled platforms.
- Experience with solution estimation, estimation models and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Army Contractor experience
- Experience supporting modernization cloud project
- Expert hands on experience with Appian
- Hands-on experience with low-code platforms such as Appian, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or Palantir Technologies, with the ability to design scalable solutions, mentor teams, and support governance standards across the enterprise platform portfolio.
