X-energy is seeking professionals to join our Corporate Communications team in the role of Corporate Communications Manager. This position will be responsible for managing, building, and executing X-energy’s corporate communications program. They will support the company’s communications strategy through content generation, coordination among departments, external events, and documentation of KPIs and other metrics. They will help ensure that corporate messaging and content supports business objectives and communicates appropriately to specified target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Develops messaging and content for online and offline distribution, including company website, advertising, social media platforms, reports, media interviews, etc.
- Ensures accuracy and suitability of content for outlets based on department or organization-wide messaging requirements and objectives.
- Works with departments on their communications, content management, and news around specific issues and business areas.
- Provides support to communications team with story identification, editing, and proofing.
- Manages the approval processes for announcements, and engagement campaigns.
- Identifies and develops content and/or output, such as, but not limited to blog posts, videos, press releases, speaking opportunities, and presentations.
- Serves as the point of contact for external and internal functional communications requests.
- Manages vendor relationships in coordination with corporate communications team.
- Serves as point of contact for external partners and contacts.
- Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing, public affairs, journalism or related discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Typically, ten years’ general work experience with at least four years’ experience in direct corporate communications, agency journalism, or public affairs role.
- Experience with graphic design software and content development.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Experience working with and managing agencies, external vendors, andcontracts.
- Knowledge of all aspects of Communications, including but not limited to social media, media relations, PR, marketing, advertising, writing, and is successful in working in a range of job functions to support corporate leadership and staff.
Compensation
As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives. A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is: $142,000- $179,630.
