Role Overview

WW is looking for a Product Designer to help us build a personalized digital experience for our members. This team focuses on creating an experience that is tailored to our members needs throughout their wellness journey—ensuring that members have the tools and information they need so they can live successfully on WW. 


Key Responsibilities

Deliver an integrated and intuitive experience that personalizes the experience for members

Understand the behaviors, motivations, and goals for members throughout their wellness journey

Leverage user research, analytics, and A/B testing to identify opportunities and validate designs

Work collaboratively with product and engineering, as well as with other partners such as our Science team

Advocate for and be the voice for our members

Goals / Deliverables

Evaluate our new experience, validate if it is helping members, and iterate on the design based on findings

Account for edge and deprioritized use cases with both short and long term approaches

Re-evaluate the experience through the context of other team's work, design, and test new ideas


Requirements

Design

Your portfolio has best-in-class work

You’re a generalist with a sweet spot for UX and interaction design

You understand how to gather product requirements, incorporate research, frame the problem, focus on the user, explore multiple solutions, and articulate a clear design direction

You believe in craftsmanship and create elegant and compelling designs

You’re well versed in interactions for both native mobile and web, and have nuanced views on how to make many of them even better

You can prototype fast, make last-minute tweaks between user studies, know how to be extremely polished as well as quick and dirty

You are able to navigate between greenfield exploration and tactical, iterative designs

You can analyze data, interviews, and user research and translates those insights into intuitive and compelling designs

You have designed for consumer facing audiences


Product

You’ve shipped multiple products

You can share several shining examples of real work you’ve shipped, and what you’ve learned along the way

You’ve shipped something across several platforms and you know what translates from desktop to mobile and what doesn’t, or why you’d opt for one solution for iOS and another on Android

You know what details matter at each stage of the product life cycle, and how to involve engineers at the right time to get the fit and finish right

You know how to manage process and product

You develop strong relationships with product managers, developers, designers, and business partners
