Field Marketing Specialist

Marketing San Francisco, California

Description

At Woodruff Sawyer, we are passionate about serving clients in a way no one else in the commercial insurance industry can match. We’re unparalleled in customer satisfaction and retention rates, which is one of the reasons we've been in business for over 100 years.

Right now, we’re scaling up our marketing team to support the work of our producers and account executives and, to that end, we’re investing in demand generation at scale.

That’s where you come in.

We’re seeking a skilled Field Marketer to help us execute our budding demand-generation strategy with a specific focus on events and sponsorships to continue to drive our pipeline growth and enhance our client experience. You’ll work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute events and related marketing plans to strengthen our sales pipeline and improve our client experience. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Field Marketing Specialist will partner with internal and external stakeholders to lead the event strategy and execution of events including pre- and post-event marketing activities that ensure the sales team maximizes field marketing efforts. Additionally, you’ll work to take our events to the next level with a national and regional presence.

The ideal candidate will take an analytical approach to problem-solving and have a proven track record in building and executing strategic lead generation campaigns that drive new customer acquisition and grow existing accounts. The role has growth opportunity as well as access to freelancers, agencies, and a supportive cross-functional team for execution.

When it comes to corporate culture, we aren’t just nice to our clients; we live our values every day internally as well. From generous remote work opportunities (even before Covid) and health insurance benefits to collaborating with a team of experienced and friendly marketing professionals, we’re a fun place to work. If you geek out on business strategy, cybersecurity, or risk in general, you'll find this world as fascinating as we do.
