Our Property & Casualty practice is looking for an Account Executive to join their collaborative and industrious team. Account Executives are responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, overall client retention, client deliverables, delivering profitable revenue growth for assigned clients, and assisting in developing new business.  In addition, Account Executives work directly with the Producers and Practice Leaders by identifying and implementing new business opportunities.


What You’ll Do:

  • Management of all assigned accounts and oversight of accounts for assigned client service staff in accordance with WS Service Standards and practice guidelines, assuring timeliness of responses and accuracy of information
  • Effectively managing multiple clients in accordance with P&C practice service requirements and best practices in order to sustain client retention
  • Staying up to date with business, legal and regulatory issues affecting assigned book of business, demonstrating ability to clearly communicate these details with clients and operating teams
  • Staying current on issues, trends and new products in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
  • Developing strategic overview on accounts, arranging strategy meetings, requesting information from the markets and client, and reviewing all documents pertaining to client needs
  • Serving as a trusted advisor in addressing complex issues; managing issues proactively and mitigating risks on large, complex projects; taking responsibility for problem solving to conclusion
  • Assisting with sales and business planning to expand existing or develop new client relationships, including new lines of business


Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum of seven years of industry experience; demonstrated ability to resolve more complex client issues
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and shift focus as priorities change
  • Previous supervisory, training and/or formal mentoring experience desirable; demonstrated ability to be a team builder
  • Current Fire & Casualty license required upon hire or within 3 months of obtaining position
  • Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Ability to travel as required
