As a People Business Partner at Woodruff Sawyer, you’ll be a true partner and culture champion for a stable, yet quickly growing company. You'll foster innovation and service through all interactions with employees and take a holistic approach to employee relations to ensure that our solutions drive effective results.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with leaders to provide strategic and tactical support in areas such as - employee development and goal setting, employee engagement, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, talent reviews and succession planning, organizational design, employee relations, leadership coaching, and rewards/recognition.
  • Collaborate with employees on individual and team career development and understanding/interpreting company policies and practices.
  • Partner with other People Team leaders in Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Project Management to share knowledge and mitigate siloes.
  • Maintain current knowledge of best practices in human resources. Analyze trends to enable better insight, decision making, and evolve your role.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, interacting as necessary with corporate counsel.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4-8 years’ experience in human resources in a business environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and growth as a businessperson and within the HR discipline.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and other workplace technology (Zoom, Slack, etc.).
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Once we fully return to office (we’re still primarily remote due to COVID-19) this role will have a home base in our San Francisco office, with a hybrid-remote option. Travel to supporting offices will be needed about 25% of the time.
