About your role:
In September 2022, Niti Aayog and WRI India launched the E-FAST platform – the first forum of its kind in the country that brings a collaborative attempt to decarbonize India’s road freight sector. The platform counts among its participants a network of logistics services providers, manufacturing companies, Original Equipment Providers, research organizations and other stakeholders to facilitate deliberations and address practical challenges of the industry, technology, finance, and inform policy.
WRI India is seeking a Platform Manager to support its Freight vertical. The candidate will be responsible for the development, evolution, and management of WRI India’s e-FAST platform. The candidate will be tasked with the responsibility to ensure that e-FAST is a reliable resource for all stakeholders in the freight ecosystem to lead the decarbonization effort of the road freight sector by generating high-quality research, organizing consultations, capturing, and representing sentiments of the industry and the government.
How your day will unfold:
•    Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the network of e-FAST partners, including e-truck manufacturers, logistics service providers, manufacturing companies, think tanks, and other industry players.
•    Develop strategies for achieving the goals and monitoring the progress of the e-FAST platform.  
•    Engage in consultations with government bodies, multi-lateral agencies, and partner think tanks to grow the participant network and identify partnership opportunities aligned with the broader goal of the initiative.
•    Oversee and manage digital assets of the platform including the performance and reach of the website and any online communication.
•    Work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
•    Participate in external workshops, discussions, and events to showcase thought leadership, increasing the organization's visibility.
•    Generate literature pieces to enhance the organization's engagement in the ecosystem as well as support the internal team’s knowledge building. 

Qualifications and requirements we seek:
•    Business degree or an equivalent master’s degree in business development, Transportation Planning/ Supply Chain/ Logistics Management with 7-10 years of experience
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Experience in stakeholder engagement/industry interaction 
•    Experience in or knowledge of freight transport (medium, heavy, and light duty vehicles), urban supply chain, logistics policy, and capacity building.
•    Familiarity with electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, or related technologies is advantageous.
•    Demonstrated experience of working with the government, private sector, civic groups, and academic and research organizations.
•    The candidate must be fluent in English. Fluency in other regional languages will be an added advantage.
•    Good writing and presentation skills. Quantitative and qualitative research capabilities is essential.
•    The candidate must be able to work independently and contribute to the learning of the team.
•    Proficiency in MS Office suite. Experience in spatial software, statistical programming languages and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits: INR 15,00,000 to INR 18,00,000 CTC

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
