Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Integrated Communications, the Digital Marketing Manager will develop and implement a multi-channel B2B digital marketing strategy in accordance with the organization’s short and long-term business priorities and objectives. In addition to developing the strategy, this person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, working alongside his/her fellow members of W. P. Carey’s Integrated Communications team as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities


Digital Strategy

  • Develop, deploy and manage a B2B multi-channel digital marketing strategy using a variety of tactics and channels, including SEO/SEM, email, social media, advertising, content syndication, etc.


Email Marketing

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test and deploy email campaigns to support the unique communication needs per audience (internal and external).

  • Oversee the development of campaign digital aspects, including messaging, creative assets, landing pages, etc.

  • Monitor analytics to optimize campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations.

  • Partner with legal and external counsel to monitor and comply with evolving regulations such as GDPR, CAN-SPAM and CCPA.


Website Management

  • Own day-to-day website management, including trouble-shooting issues, responding to internal requests, working with internal creative director and communications manager to update website copy and digital materials.

  • Manage external development agency and work closely with internal IT team to ensure website functionality.

  • Develop and manage SEO/SEM strategy.

  • Lead periodic large-scale website projects as needed such as redesigns, platform migrations and technology system integrations.

  • Partner with legal and external counsel to monitor and comply with evolving regulations such as evolving privacy laws and ADA compliance.

  • Utilize web analytics tools to monitor site traffic and track pre-determined KPIs.


Data Analytics
  • Measure and report performance on all digital marketing campaigns and evaluate effectiveness against pre-determined KPIs.

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate and optimize end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and “customer” touchpoints.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of B2B marketing or Mar-Tech experience.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and experience in B2B digital marketing.

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or Pardot), Eloqua or similar email marketing automation platform required.

  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Keywords, Google Search Engine required.

  • Strong digital marketing skills including an understanding of website development (Drupal experience preferred) and design, mobile applications, email and mobile marketing required.

  • Ability to create and execute strategic marketing plans.

  • Clear communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate planning and results, as well as collaborate with internal and external stakeholders required.

  • Ability to direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as manage workload and prioritize projects accordingly.

  • Adaptable thinker who can work both strategically as well as in a hands-on/executional capacity.

  • Flexible, team player with entrepreneurial drive.
