Integration Specialist 


The Integration Specialist will be accountable for implementation and rollout of our NextGen integration platform. Through an RFP process, we will be selecting an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solution which will be hosted cloud native in AWS. This solution will be a core component in our Architecture enabling integration and connectivity with key freight carriers as well as with our customers across their eCommerce platforms and on-premise systems.


  • Conduct requirements gathering and lead the solution design process for implementation of the integration platform
  • Create Architecture documents and review with technical leadership team
  • Create implementation roadmap based on aligned prioritization across IT and Business teams
  • Deploy initial setup of iPaaS solution within cloud environment
  • Develop application & data integration workflows based on priority defined within roadmap
  • Maintain roadmap ensuring there is consistent dialogue and prioritization alignment across all stakeholders
  • Document best practices and standards for development, governance and operational lifecycle of the integration platform
  • Mentor and train team members (IT & Business) through training sessions on design and deployment best practices
  • Identify ongoing risks and pain points through the project, develop and implement mitigation measures
  • Support cross functional teams such as Delivery, Operations, Finance, etc. that are developing integration workflows for their specific needs


  • Bachelor Degree required, Masters Preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in integration roles
  • 1 -3 years of experience with iPaaS solutions
  • Hands on experience building interfaces and workflows with iPaaS solutions such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic or Informatica
  • Experience with creating templates and standards for development and deployment within integration platform
  • Understanding of basic authentication and security concepts within platform
  • Must have administrative knowledge of the iPaaS technology platform
  • Experience in core Java, Spring framework, messaging
  • Expert level experience with SOAP and REST web services and API development
  • Experience with authentication protocols like OAuth, SAML, etc.
  • Experience with SOA, ESB and JMS concepts and implementations
  • Hands on experience with source code repositories such as BitBucket, GitHub, SVN, etc.
  • Solid understanding of integration design patterns such as Pub/Sub
  • Experience in utilizing application connectors to systems like CRM, ERP, Databases (RDBMS, NoSQL, etc.)

  • Understanding of the industry, specific WWEX business model, and unique characteristics of the Company.
