ROLE OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Worldwide Express is currently looking to hire a career minded individual for our Credit team. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and prospective businesses; determining credit worthiness and credit limit recommendations. Additionally, this person is responsible for corresponding directly with the potential/existing customers on account details such as credit limit, payment method, payment terms, etc. The Analyst will review current customers for extended payment terms and requests for increased credit limits. The Credit Analyst will work closely with other team members in addition to the Director of Credit & Collections in the decision making process. 


Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Works with our Sales Operations team to collect necessary documents to approve credit for new and existing customers
  • Responsible for performing and documenting credit analyses on current and prospective customers
  • Creates and processes credit applications using DNBi and trade references
  • Routine outbound/inbound telephone calls/faxes/e-mails to provide requested vendor references for existing customers
  • Proactively performs risk reviews on aged accounts receivable and large balance exposure accounts
  • Prepare quarterly reports tracking volume of requested credit approvals
  • Perform other duties associated with the Credit Analyst Function, as assigned by management
