About the role:
We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to drive revenue growth across our Europe region by managing both our Key Account team and Partnership team in Europe.
As a Sales Team lead, you will be accountable for maximizing commercial performance across two key channels: managing our most valuable direct client relationships and developing strategic partnerships that drive client referrals. This leadership role requires a proven sales management professional who can develop commercial strategies, coach high-performing teams, and optimize our revenue streams.
What you will be doing:
- Lead, coach & develop Key Account Managers and Partnership Managers to the next level
- Motivate and inspire team members to achieve commercial success
- Build consultative selling skills and product knowledge across both teams
- Develop and execute commercial strategies for key account and partnership teams across Europe
- Create strategies to build, manage and drive pipeline and convert leads into profitable customers
- Monitor pipeline health to ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets and new business goals
- Develop strong relationships with key clients to drive retention and growth
- Represent WorldFirst at trade shows, webinars, and partner events
- Work with analytics team to segment client portfolio by size, potential, and value and optimize pricing strategies across customer segments to maximize revenue and retention
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years B2B sales experience with 3+ years in sales/partnerships management, preferably in financial services, payments, fintech, ecommerce or SaaS
- Proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed revenue targets
- Experience in consultative selling to ecommerce and international trade clients preferred
- International payments industry experience preferred
- Connections to international trade, marketplace networks, service providers, or ecommerce ecosystems is an advantage
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior-level engagement
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
