Introduction:
Our vision is to provide more inclusive and convenient payment and financial solutions for global cross-border consumers and sellers, you will be a key member of Ant Group European Leadership team to help achieve company’s global vision.
 
This role will be focused on our WorldFirst business line, an international payments business helping move money around the world - we became part of Ant Group in 2019, accelerating our mission to create the world’s best platform for international trade by combining WorldFirst’s products with Ant’s solutions aimed at enabling the digitalization of the modern services industry globally. 
 
Together, we are advancing our shared aim of bringing innovative, inclusive and affordable services to small and medium-sized businesses and online merchants in the rapidly growing area of cross-border trade.

What you’ll do:
 
  • Create and implement a world leading strategy for WorldFirst as we heavily invest and expand into the German & Dutch markets.
  • Collaborate with HR to proactively develop our culture and sense of belonging. 
  • Develop a high-performing team that consistently achieves our goals.
  • Exploring new Product opportunities in the market that we can enter and scale.
  • Ensure client value retention is maximised and relationships are continuously strengthened, working alongside the CMO and Marketing teams to deliver a comprehensive customer contact strategy.
  • Creating clear goals are set and they clear on what high performance looks like and monitoring the performance of the team and individuals, identifying areas for improvement.
 
What we’re looking for:
 
  • Director-level with a background in Payments & an understanding of e-commerce.
  • Experience in leading and influencing large cross-functional teams.
  • The ability to communicate complex topics in an easy to understand way.
  • A strong focus on the customer and really understanding their perspective.
  • Be an experienced sales manager with exceptional leadership skills; ensuring commitment and drive your teams and a positive, high energy working environment.
  • Have experience in launching new products and developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Ability to think strategically about sales channel improvements, getting agreement from relevant internal partners and working on Business Opportunity Cases.
