Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Institution Payment Partnerships Manager to join our EU Antom team. Antom Merchant Payment Services help global merchants to engage digitally with consumers in Asia and beyond. With our AI-driven payment and digital marketing engine, we offer our merchants the broadest consumer reach in Asia and globally, and help them collect payments and grow revenue.
As the Payment Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance of existing Financial Institutions (FIs) partnerships in your respective region/market. Your primary objective will be to provide world-class payment services to our clients through effective relationship management and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary Point-of-Contact for local market knowledge, providing consultation on local payment products and landscape to the Alibaba and Alipay teams.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with payment partners, banks, payment service providers (PSPs), and acquirers. Engage with key executives in the financial industry to foster partnerships and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Act as the key escalation point in negotiations and discussions with key influencers, partners, and regulators, ensuring that our interests are represented effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and prioritize new product and channel launches. Lead the coordination and cooperation between FI partners, product teams, and headquarters to drive successful outcomes.
Contribute to marketing operations to drive higher usage and conversion rates for payment channels. Work closely with marketing teams to develop strategies and initiatives that enhance customer engagement and promote adoption.
Monitor and manage the performance of all payment partners in your respective countries. Track key performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement action plans to enhance performance and optimize the partnership ecosystem.
Assist in building an efficient funds management network in the responsible market, working towards establishing seamless and secure payment processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in managing and nurturing partnerships with financial institutions, banks, or payment service providers.
Strong understanding of the payment industry landscape, including payment methods, regulations, and emerging trends.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and regulators effectively.
Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and prioritize initiatives.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights to drive performance improvement.
Familiarity with marketing operations and strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase adoption.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for driving results and achieving business objectives.
Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages relevant to the respective market is a plus.
