Roles & Responsibilities
This role will work closely with our various Chief Compliance Officers (“CCO”), the key responsibilities for this role is as follows:
  • Provide regulatory compliance advice to business and functional teams regarding the e-money and payments regulations;
  • Support the CCO in the regulatory reporting process;
  • Support the CCO in the compliance due diligence review process for acquirers & financial institutions;
  • Oversee our outsourcing framework and carry out any necessary outsourcing assessment;
  • Conduct effective risk assessment on compliance risk event as well as for new product launches;
  • Monitor internal and external business & regulatory environments to identify new or emerging risks and verify remediation of issues as applicable;
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of risk applicable to products and business processes (including regulatory risk, outsourcing risk, operational resilience and business continuity) and maintain an effective compliance risk monitoring programme;
  • Work closely with other internal functions and teams to ensure overall compliance to all applicable regulatory and licensing requirements; and
  • Support on ad-hoc compliance projects as required.
Experience and Qualifications/Capabilities
  • Relevant experience with regulatory compliance or working experience in e-commerce, payments, card schemes or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Team player as well as ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines, and in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment.
  • Experience of analysing FCA regulatory requirements.
  • Strong ability to understand internal and corporate governance, processes and controls.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
