Our rapidly growing promotional marketing company is in immediate need of a Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our expanding team. Through a customer-friendly, direct, and results-driven marketing approach, we've continuously added new clientele, significantly boosting product exposure, sales, and brand recognition. 

As a Public Relations and Communications Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in executing projects assigned by the Public Relations and Communications Manager. This role involves coordinating and integrating Public Relations campaigns with customer sales promotions and maintaining successful field campaign operations. You will develop and refine measurement strategies for PR campaigns, manage relationships with customers and retail personnel, and create and maintain records of campaign performance. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and execute projects as directed by the Public Relations and Communications Manager.
  • Integrate PR campaigns with customer sales promotions, coordinating in-store service campaigns.
  • Develop and refine measurement strategies for PR campaigns.
  • Create promotional marketing materials and manage visual merchandising.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and retail personnel, keeping accurate records of campaign performance.
  • Identify new opportunities and efficiency innovations.

No Prior Experience Required: Comprehensive training and development provided for success in the role. 

Requirements: 

  • Education: College degree or in the process of completion preferred.
  • 0-2 years in public relations, communications, marketing, sales, or related internship.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A level-headed problem solver with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Superb organizational and tracking skills with great attention to detail.
  • Adaptable, dependable, responsible with basic understanding of PR, communications, marketing, and sales concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
