Entry Level Communications Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our dynamic event marketing team. This entry-level position will support our communications and promotional efforts by assisting in the coordination of marketing campaigns, drafting content, and liaising with media and clients. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for event marketing and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client and Media Relations: Support the Communications team in managing client communications and media inquiries, ensuring a positive and professional brand image.
- Event Coordination Support: Assist in event logistics, including tracking promotional materials, organizing schedules, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to help shape communication strategies and promotional tactics.
- Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as maintaining contact lists, preparing reports, and updating internal databases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of organization. Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus.
- Experience: Previous internship or volunteer experience in communications, PR, or event marketing is beneficial but not required.
