WorkReduce, the largest technology-enabled services provider for the media buying industry, is looking for a Director, Media Strategy to execute the overall direction of cross-channel media plans.

What you’ll do: 

  • Expertly generate the broad media strategy and overall account direction for client  
  • Build thoughtful and strategic cross-channel media plans  
  • Sell the vision for cross-channel assessment and be the trusted source for final say on media recommendations 
  • Work with individual channel experts to explore the best options available, and actively breaks down silos when present 
  • Lead efforts to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and/or effectiveness for existing programs 
  • Work closely with Digital Media Insights (Analytics) to devise optimal measurement plans 
  • Provide media marketplace position and assessments for new and emerging media 
  • Closely monitor competitorscategory trends and emerging media opportunities  
  • Provide accurate and professional communication both internally and externally 
  • Help ensure operational excellence is delivered across assigned team 
  • Ensures campaigns are executed in support of the strategy 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 7-9 years of hands-on media strategy and planning, preferably in an agency environment  
  • Thorough understanding of programmatic media buying and strategy (paid search/SEM, and eCommerce media, including Amazon) with demonstrable experience 
  • Ability to create frameworks to determine allocations across channels 
  • Understanding of media marketplace, including establishing vendor and publisher relationships 
  • Expertise in using, understanding, and presenting attribution models and demonstrating cross-channel planning benefits 
  • Possess a balance of analytical and creative problem-solving skills 
  • Experience in eCommerce is a must, experience with consumer electronics is a plus 
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint  
  • Ability to manipulate analyze and interpret data 
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written – internally and with client teams 
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
