About the Role:

WorkReduce is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the recruiting function within WorkReduce. The ideal candidate is an innovative thinker who can drive operational initiatives to improve the people team and employee experience and has experience in talent acquisition for media, advertising, and/or AdTech companies. This role will help create and implement scalable, repeatable processes across the people team that allow for consistency and success. . This person will need be able to interact with all levels of management internally and externally, act with discretion when handling confidential matters, and scan large volumes of resumes with short deadlines.

We serve brands and agencies as a distributed team of media and technology experts operating through the WorkReduce platform. Our clients rely on this virtual team to help execute programmatic marketing campaigns, campaign analytics, and related tasks.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with team leads and hiring managers to improve and grow the recruiting function.
  • Implement and iterate on our recruiting strategy with an eye for scale and improving sourcing and candidate selection.
  • Be accountable for all project the talent pipeline and headcount needs, ensuring success in role fulfillment and talent fit.
  • Provide support to account and operations teams to prioritize their people needs, give input into the sourcing of critical talent openings, and help ensure timely hiring needs.
  • Leverage data driven insights to identify opportunities and help to improve process and talent quality.
  • Manage the JD drafting, job posting, and position promotion processes.
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and technical interviews.
  • Seek out active and passive candidates on all job boards (LinkedIn, Social Media, etc.).
  • Play a key role in the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with candidates, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Communicate all details with candidates/managers and act as a point of contact during and after the interview process.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.


What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years in talent acquisition for media, advertising, and/or AdTech companies.
  • Experience working with and optimizing ATS and or recruiting tools – specifically Jobvite and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Familiarity with different job board posting processes and an understanding of the strengths of each type of job posting and property.
  • Experience designing and developing job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each
  • position’s requirements.
  • Strong organizational and operational skills.
  • Strong project management skills with an understanding of timelines and the ability to inform key stakeholders at all stages of the recruiting process.
  • The ability to multi-task and follow up with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to be calm under pressure, navigate in complexity, and build new processes.
  • The ability to manage and draw insights from data and develop well informed strategies for candidate sourcing and company promotion.
  • A healthy amount of ambition mixed with self-awareness to know when to pull in help and when to provide additional support.
