WorkReduce, the largest technology-enabled services provider for the media buying industry, is looking for a Data Engineer to manage and maintain large data sets and help drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve data quality.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), hourly, temporary role for the next 4-6 months. 

What you'll do: 

  • Manage and maintain large data sets using SQL.  
  • Help drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve data quality.  
  • Make sure the data platforms and processes are running well, both in data collection, integration and processing.  
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage data logistics.  
  • Monitor and manage data quality processes and data integrations.  
  • Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance of all the data exchange and data solution processes.  

What we're looking for: 

  • 4+ years of experience in database management utilizing SQL Server or MySQL.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering).  
  • Exceptional SQL coding skills (specifically MySQL) i.e.- creating complex queries to join tables, creating views, stored procedures, functions.
  • Experience setting up databases in the cloud and/or on-premise.  
  • Familiarity with digital media serving platforms (TTD, MediaMath, DoubleClick, etc.) and associated metrics.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration; but also capable of working independently when needed.  
  • Strong work ethic – highly organized, diligent, and attentive to detail. 
  • A self-motivated individual who is well organized and can multitask successfully.  
  • Able to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity.  
Nice to haves:  
  • Experience with business intelligence & data visualization tools such as Domo, Datorama or Tableau.  
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of Adverity 
  • Programming experience utilizing Python.  
  • Experience with cloud services specifically AWS.
