Programmatic Media Planner (Remote/Virtual)

WorkReduce, the largest technology-enabled services provider for the media buying industry, is looking for a Programmatic Media Planner to execute advertising campaigns for our clients. You will plan, execute, and report on campaigns for well-known brands with media budgets in excess of $1mm+.

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), hourly, temporary role lasting approximately one month with a high possibility of extension. The Programmatic Media Planner will have hands-on experience planning and buying media across platforms such as DBM, AppNexus, TradeDesk, Amazon Advertising (AAP), and GDN/YouTube via Google Ads. Successful candidates should have a high technical aptitude and enjoy hands-on learning in a fast paced environment.

What we’d like you to do:

  • Manage and revise media plans, ensuring flawless execution including implementation, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Develop cross channel RFPs, evaluate proposals, and collaborate on final buy recommendations 
  • Develop and QA daily/weekly reporting with the ability to pull out actionable insights  
  • Understanding of and ability to lead kick-off-calls with partners and clients  
  • Proactively discover and investigate media opportunities; craft well supported, articulate POVs  
  • Successfully articulate media, competitive, targeting, marketplace and landscape trends and be able to apply their findings and determine what the implications might be for our clients. 
  • Taking action on all account activities and provide knowledge to help guide or redefine priorities  
  • Maintain thorough, real time knowledge of client business 
  • Manage and be accountable for media budgets and client billing/invoicing processes 
  • Compile and update regular status reports 
  • Ensure timely receipt of creative assets, works with team to ensure assets are QA’d to ensure flawless campaign launches

What we’re looking for:

  • 4-6 years of programmatic media planning and buying experience
  • Proficiency across various Programmatic Display Media Channels (DBM, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, etc) 
  • PMP & Direct deal experience 
  • Experience working with other digital channels including search and social 
  • Experience with offline channels such as TV is a plus 
  • Project management skills, with an emphasis on the ability to manage changing priorities 
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills 
  • Strong analytical skills and a natural affinity with numbers   
  • Able to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Agency experience in pharmaceuticals industry preferred but not required
