WorkReduce, the largest technology-enabled services provider for the media buying industry, is looking for a motivated Director with a love of startups and a drive for company building. This is a role for a strong account leader who can help shape the future of our dynamic company.

We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable in a rapidly-changing environment. The Director will oversee a team that delivers best-in-class service and operational excellence to our varied client base. This person will effectively manage and scale client relationships starting with the launch of the partnership and continue to provide on-going services and support.

 In addition to maintaining and growing existing accounts, the Director will also identify, develop and implement processes to improve the overall account management workflow.

 The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills and a strong background in digital advertising (search, social, display, programmatic, video, etc). The Director must be able to work with remote teams and collaborate with the sales team to provide education on our workflow and process.

What you’ll do:

 

  • Directly manage multiple teams working across various accounts including Associate Directors, Buyers, Planners, Supervisors, Leads, and Associates
  • Own the overall client relationship providing strategy, partnership growth, and operational flow for overall service excellence
  • Meet or exceed account revenue targets to fulfill company revenue goals
  • Identify and secure qualified talent to staff client teams
  • Build Account Plans to serve as the execution roadmap for account management and partnership growth
  • Provide guidance and support for the media subject matter experts and help the WorkReduce team execute on recurring and new client tasks
  • Own the process and other operational improvements that elevate our offering and service to clients while maintaining a strong team experience
  • Own high-level, strategic client deliverables and leverage strong knowledge of the overall media landscape to improve client-facing materials and grow and deepen partnership
  • Develop and execute on continuous process improvements including working with product team to ensure all necessary data entry stays consistent with existing workflows
  • Be prepared and able to anticipate and/or develop plans to overcome obstacles with client work or staffing

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • BA or equivalent with an emphasis on marketing, business or coursework of a quantitative nature
  • 8+ years account management experience with 5 or more years in digital media
  • 4+ years experience managing teams with varied experience levels
  • Experience working with remote teams and managing teams in multiple locations (distributed workforce)
  • Background in digital media buying and planning across all platforms
  • Proven track record of strengthening and growing relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High comfort level with ambiguous direction and ability to build a plan based on minimal details

 

Nice to haves:

 

  • Experience as an account lead for an Agency, SaaS platform or other technology in the Digital Media space
  • Experience working with account revenue targets and exceeding goals
  • Experience in the recruiting, interviewing and overall hiring process
  • Previous work on account revenue forecasting and staffing plans
