WorkReduce is looking for a new Account Director/Associate Director to join our growing team. This role will oversee a team of media professionals who deliver best-in-class service and operational excellence to our varied client base (think Agencies, Brands, Platforms, Networks). This person will be responsible for managing and scaling the client relationship from the launch of the partnership and forward. This will involve regular client interaction, support, and up-selling to ensure partnership growth. You will also be involved in identifying, developing, and implementing processes to improve the overall workflow and ability to deliver on client needs.

The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills and a strong background in digital advertising (search, social, display, programmatic, video, etc). You must be able to work with, or have worked with, remote teams. This will include extensive collaboration with the sales and recruiting teams to ensure and provide excellent client service and support.

What you’ll do: 

  • Directly manage multiple teams working across client accounts including all roles within the media execution process
  • Own the overall client relationship providing strategy, partnership growth, and operational flow for overall service excellence
  • Meet or exceed account revenue targets to fulfill company revenue goals
  • Build account plans to serve as the execution roadmap for account management and partnership growth
  • Provide guidance and support as a media subject matter expert and help the WorkReduce team execute on recurring and new client tasks
  • Own the process and other operational improvements that elevate our offering and service to clients while maintaining a strong team experience
  • Own high-level, strategic client deliverables and leverage strong knowledge of the overall media landscape to improve client-facing materials and grow the partnership
  • Support the recruiting and placement process for new media execution staff within WorkReduce including screening resumes, interviewing, and initial sourcing efforts (tapping your network)

 What we’re looking for:

  • BA or equivalent with an emphasis on marketing, business, or coursework of a quantitative nature
  • 8+ years’ account management experience with 5 or more years in digital media
  • 4+ years’ experience managing teams with varied levels of experience/seniority
  • Experience working with remote teams and managing teams in multiple locations (distributed workforce)
  • Background in digital media buying and planning across all channels or experience servicing Agency accounts with a deep understanding of the Agency workflow and process
  • Proven track record of strengthening and growing relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High comfort level with ambiguous direction and ability to build a plan based on minimal details
  • Experience working with account revenue targets and exceeding goals

Nice to haves:

  • Experience as an account lead for an Agency, SaaS platform, or other technology in the Digital Media space
  • Experience in the recruiting, interviewing and overall hiring process
  • Previous work on account revenue forecasting and staffing plans
