Whereoware is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our clients and collaborate with our in-house web and marketing teams to enhance organic search visibility, drive traffic, and improve rankings. As an SEO Specialist, you will lead the implementation of SEO strategies, ensuring all efforts align with client KPIs.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to boost organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
  • Conduct in-depth site audits to identify and resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URL structures based on targeted keywords and best practices.
  • Execute keyword research aligned with client objectives to influence content strategy and overall SEO direction.
  • Manage on-page SEO elements to ensure maximum visibility and relevancy in search engines.
  • Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
  • Stay current with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure compliance and maximum effectiveness.
  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO KPIs, including organic traffic, conversion rates, and keyword rankings, using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio.
  • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Provide SEO insights and recommendations based on performance analysis and ongoing monitoring.
 
Qualifications: 
  • 2-4 years of experience managing SEO campaigns, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as MOZ, SEMRush, Screaming Frog, SEOQuake, and others.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager (certifications are a plus).
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for digital marketing and continuous learning.
